Bananape GB

"space is relative"

This is a platformer collectathon, you play as a small monkey who gets bigger and bigger up by eating bananas, eventually he is big enough to climb an skyscrapper and destroy everything, but only if you manage to get the 175 bananas!

This game also has a very interesting accidental SPEEDRUN, using wall clipping and even sequence breaking bugs you might be able to beat it under 5 minutes! - tip: you actually only need 35 bananas to beat the game, you don't even need to go into kong mode! But I won't spoil how to do it, you guys have to find it on your own :) -

the map is also desinged to be somewhat like a sandbox, it's designed to improve backtracking as you lap over it, almost like a racing game. So you could call it a open world 2d plataformer.
